I was so excited when this familiy requested an urban shoot! … and then… even more excited driving around my old hometown of Santa Rosa discovering such fun locations. I’m gonna have to go back lots just to be able to use all the fun stuff that this place has to offer.
Anyone wanna schedule some more Cali sessions so I can come back and have more fun?

So I’m finally back from our funfun trip to California and i think I have enough pics to keep me blogging for a while. After downloading almost 30GB’s of cards… I’m thinking that it’s going to take me a while to catch up. I have tons and tons of snapshots of my kids having fun while we were there, but i also have several california clients waiting and waiting for sneak peaks… so my kiddos just might have to wait (maybe i’ll sneak some in here and there)

The first shoot that I did in Cali was a sweet little newborn. When I heard that he was born a few days early I was tempted to pull my kids out of school and head out there so I didn’t miss that sweet curly stage. I held off and left as planned and i got to photograph him at 15 days. He was VERY alert which made it tough for those sleepy curly pics, but I think we managed to capture a few.

Just walking into the home and being around mom and dad, who so clearly love each other and their sweet baby boy, I knew that this baby was very blessed to be welcomed into such a loving home.
