Sneak Peak….. {Mountain Home Idaho Family Photographer}

This was such a nice family! Mom called me to schedule a photography session so that they could get family pictures and capture a little bit of mountain home before they moved to sunny arizona.
We found some fun outdoor locations that showed off beautiful Idaho. But hey – let me know when you’re ready for family pics in the red dirt and cactus desserts… We can always get together again next time I’m down in Mesa :)
Thanks again guys! Enjoy your sneak peak!

Marriage…. {Boise Idaho Photographer}

…while we’re on the subject, i thought it would be a good time to post this picture.

While we were in California Cliff and I took the kids to see where him and I were married. They loved seeing this beautiful place and it was fun to go back with our whole family.

I attempted to take a photo that could be blown up and hung on my wall. What d’ya think? Color or bnw?

Southern Wedding….

So Last week I took a trip to Southern Georgia to attend and shoot one of my best friends weddings. I was so glad that I could be there and be a part of her beautiful day. The groom is from Georgia and so she chose this beautiful southern location to spend her special day. Gin Creek was an AMAZING location. It is a family run business and I can not say enough good things about the gin creek family. I felt completely welcomed and at home there. I hope that some day I can bring my husband back there. I just know he will love it.

So as far as pictures go… There was another photographer there… the groom’s cousin. I didn’t get as much time with the bride and groom as I would have liked (5 minutes total i think), but I hope that the other images that I captured throughout the day are a true repesentation of the happiness and love that everyone that attended felt.

Congratulations Carol and Shaun!!

Love this one of Carol throwing the bouquet… :) it makes me smile

Did I mention that they got married on the 4th of July? :)

I also have to give Carol a ton of credit for all of th e work that she put into all the details of the day. She made all of the center-pieces, the other flower arrangements, the favors, her bouquet and her sisters, all of the bouteniers and corsages… the list goes on and on. I was truly impressed!

So after my first experience as a wedding photographer, I won’t write off ever doing one again… but i do need to catch my breath before ever attempting another one. My hat definitely goes off to you photographers that do this all the time!!!
