A few crazy snaps from California… Finally!
These are from our little day trip to Armstrong Grove… you know… “from the REDWOOD FOREST, to the Gulf Stream Waters…”
which, by the way, has the worst color casts int he whole entire world!… seriously, i should’ve converted them all to black and white – but what’s the fun in that? (and let’s face it – I’m lazy!)
It is a pretty cool place with some pretty big trees though…

Oh man…. It’s been a few weeks, hasn’t it? I promise it’s not for a lack of taking pictures that I haven’t blogged much. Life has just been about as crazy as it could be for the last few weeks. Instead of going into all the crazy details, I’ll just jump right into my post….
So after 2 newborns in a row last week, I washed blankets and loaded up my car with clean blankets, beanbags, and props, (when I say loaded, I mean my kids almost didn’t fit!) so that I could head up to Montana to meet my sweet new niece….
This is literally the first shot I got of her. I promise she wasn’t shy the whole time. We were best friends before long and she was posing like a champ! So believe me when I say…. There are LOTS more to come of this sweet little thing!!! (had to tease ya Laurie)
On our way up there, we stopped at Grandma’s house to drop off the kids. This is about what my kids look like after the 3.5 hour drive.

Grandpa pulled out this cool Korean hat while we were there… My kids thought it was pretty cool…
Carson would’ve worn it all day… He loved it! AND… looked pretty dang cute in it!
We tried to get some shots with Grandma in them….
and even somehow managed to get Grandpa in a shot with the kids….
