oh, what a sweet face to arrive to each working day! Gorgeous. And the photos of him wrapped up all in blue are amazing. Those little feet & lips are just too cute. Beautiful work, again & again & again.

Boise Newborn Photographer | Glory…

Every so often I get an inquiry from a mom that has already given birth and we’re racing against time to get them scheduled for their first photo session. Our goal is to photograph newborns before they’re 2 weeks old… before 10 days is even better! BUT… I’ve photographed several “newborns” this last year that are even as old as 4 weeks old and we’ve had great success! Sweet little Glory was one of them. She was 4 weeks old and probably 13 or 14 lbs at this session as she was 11 lbs at birth! I asked her mom if she had her naturally and learned that she had her just about as naturally as you can… at home in her living room surrounded by loved ones!

oh my goodness. These are SO precious. What a divine little soul. So full & peaceful & incredibly lovely. And my kind of birth story. We need to hear & share more of those. Much happiness to baby & her family.

Newborn Photography Boise Idaho | Brooklyn…

It was almost exactly 2 years ago that I met Brooklyn’s mom for the first time. I actually debated taking her on as a client because she needed family/maternity photos taken during a very limited window – while her husband was home from working overseas. That small window happened to be exactly 1 month after Layla’s due date. Those that know me, know that I have a hard time saying No though, and especially to a pregnant client! So… we booked the date and ended up with one of my favorite family photos – and sessions ever! You can see it along with Alexis’s newborn sessionHERE. A few months later, I got a message from Michelle saying that she was pregnant AGAIN!! I had to giggle in excitement as this meant that these 2 sisters would be just over 13 months apart.:)Michelle and I had become friends through the various sessions that we did together… we’re just too much alike to not be friends! 😉 And I was honored that she allowed me to sit with her and Mark in the hospital so that I could capture Brooklyn’s birth. It was an amazing experience and I loved every second of it! There is nothing quite like witnessing the birth of a new baby!
